June 9-10, 2012 the Distillery Historic District was host to a piece of Luminato 6 that was officially called President’s Choice® 1000 Tastes of Toronto™ and was a delectable union of the city’s most creative chefs and our diverse food scene.

Luminato asked the city’s best cooks take to the street for President’s Choice® 1000 Tastes of Toronto™. The participating culinary artists harnessed their experience and wild imaginations to reinvent street food in a courageous manner. This year a fresh twist has been added, with all meals featuring a Canadian ingredient in their composition. And same as last year, every prepared delight is specially crafted to eat on the go, and is priced at just $5 a plate.

On Saturday June 9th 2012 the weather in the city was spectacular, and large crowds came to enjoy the delicious food and beautiful scenery of the Distillery.
